Membership
A. Who can be a member?
Any business owner, business officer, or designated representative of any established business or professional practitioner or other legitimate business enterprise is eligible to become a member of FBA. Retirees and individuals who support the mission of FBA are also eligible to belong, in accordance with procedures established by the FBA Board of Directors.
B. How does one become a member?
The FBA Board of Directors, at its sole and absolute discretion, consistent with the provisions stated is the approving authority for all applications for membership in the FBA. An annual due base of $40 per member is required.
C. Voting rights of each member
Members must be present at meetings to vote. Meetings of the FBA membership shall occur at least 4 times annually, including January , and at dates and times established by the membership. Written or printed notice stating the place, day and hour of the meeting, and its purposes, will be posted at least 7 days in advance of the meeting in appropriate media as well as an emailed agenda to whose who request it. A quorum of at least 12 members is required to be present for voting. A majority present at the meeting at which a quorum is present shall constitute the action of the Association.
