Cold River Health is the independent Direct Primary Care practice of Dr. Candice McElroy offering Family & Lifestyle Medicine to infants through adults.  Dr. McElroy is a board-certified Family Physician and diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.  In 2022, she decided to bring her vision of incorporating a holistic approach to patient care to fruition with the creation of Cold River Health and share her more than a decade of experience providing primary care in Maine with the residents of the Cold River Valley.

Cold River Health allows patients with and without insurance to access specialized and personalized care for their primary health and wellness goals for a low monthly membership fee.  As a patient, you receive enhanced access to your physician, unhurried and extended visits, and same or next day day appointments either in-person or via tele-health when appropriate.  Cold River Health is proud to offer “Homestead health and wellness” to help you achieve your beast health!
