Mobile Music from Kennebunk to Bethel!
Carlos hails proudly from the acoustic singer songwriter school of performance. The big difference between Carlos’ songwriting and performance styles and that of so many others is that Carlos’ music transports you to a wide spectrum of emotional and cultural destinations. It is almost inevitable that after his show, a fan will approach Carlos and say with genuine enthusiasm, “Wow! That was definitely not what I was expecting. How is it that you can change gears so effortlessly throughout your show?” He’s quick to point out that Tricultural Pop is all about changing gears and realigning perspectives.
“My mother was always putting on this old scratchy LP called ‘Music From Around The Globe’ and I would sit mesmerized at how beautifully diverse each song sounded. I believe that being born in Puerto Rico in 1960 spared me from the dreary fate of becoming a genre purist. It all boils down to one thing, will the song I’m playing for you at this very moment in time, move you?”
On any given night, fans can hear at least four different songwriting styles in at least two languages performed with heartfelt passion as well as sense of humor. Carlos has the innate ability to make each fan feel as if the song was written for and sung directly to them. After the first two or three songs you begin to feel as though Carlos is in your living room. It feels like home!
“My job, and I love my job, is to entertain you. My dream, and I live my dream, is to jumpstart your imagination.”

The restaurant business is in our blood. Together, we have over 30 years of food and beverage experience. When we decided it was time to open our own place, we scoured the country for the perfect place to build our dream. When we came to Lovell, Maine we knew we had found it.
From the day we bought Ebenezer’s Pub in 2004 we wanted to build something special. We wanted to bring the best beers in the world to one of the most beautiful places in the world. We wanted to provide great food at affordable prices. We wanted to create a unique atmosphere that creates a bridge between the wooded mountains of Maine and the cobbled streets of old Belgium. That atmosphere is created as much by our exceptional wait staff as it is by the authentic Belgian beer décor that covers every inch of our walls
We started small with five beer taps and an old bar that we inherited. Today we have over 35 beers on tap—mostly Belgian—and a beautiful hand-crafted bar designed and build by a local artisan. Behind the bar we have a custom glass beer cooler with hundreds of the world’s best beers ready for your enjoyment. We also have an extensive beer cellar with what is one of the most unique collections in the world—over 1000 bottled beers of many different vintages, many of which can be found nowhere else. We’ve also created some very special events by teaming up with one of the most renowned brewers in all of Belgium—Destruise Brewers. And one of the best brew chefs in America, Sean Paxton.
We’re pretty happy with what we’ve built here. Very happy, actually. Which is why we did it all over again at our new brewpub, in Brunswick, Maine.
But that’s another story.
Fiddlehead Campground began in 1999 and now has 200+ canoe-in or drive-in primitive sites on and between 11 beaches along 3 miles of the Saco River in western Maine. “Primitive” means you get a large site with a picnic table and a nearby privy, to go with the great scenery and that “away from it all” feeling. You carry in your water and other supplies. The Nature Conservancy has identified some sensitive areas that support rare plant species. Please do not trample in these marked areas. We expect campers to keep their camping areas neat; we will take away garbage that is neatly wrapped in garbage bags and placed away from the river so as to not detract from the view. We have expanded our drive-in camping as more folks have discovered the convenience of driving in to camp, taking a river trip the next day, then camping with us again that night. Our week-end clients tend toward the younger, party-on-the-beach crowd. From Sunday to Thursday, the Saco River is much quieter – an ideal time for family camping. Regardless of your camping goals, we want to preserve the untrammeled look and feel of Fiddlehead, so you will want to return again and again.

In addition to farming, my husband Joel and I both work full time at Hunting Dearborn in Fryeburg. We have two boys ages 15 and 11 who are integral hands in our small farming operation. We currently farm 5 out of the 40 available acres of farmland. We are in the process of building our first green house and hope last years strawberry planting will yield us a bountiful harvest this Spring. Our goal is to continue to farm more land each year as we continue to grow.
